Giving Back to the Community in Honor & Memory of “MOM” 1930-2021Mom’s Purse
My mom's purse helped me more than once in my life and we're hoping this Mom's Purse will be able to do the same for some very deserving charities in our area! She is also the reason for the name of the restaurant MOM’S (Murray's On Main). Because she was so giving and taught me so very much about working hard and doing for others it seems fitting to form a charity in honor of her.... Mom's Purse.Family Promise
Family Promise was chosen as the 2024 recipient of “MOM’S Purse2023 MOM’s Purse Recipient
Family Promise was given a check for $2500 to help with the purchase of an enclosed trailer. It was only fitting the check was given on what would have been my mom;s 93rd birthday. This year the following organizations were chosen to receive charitable gifts from MOM’s Purse: Treasured Chest, Family’s First, Family Promise and ACT (Area Community Theatre)
